Niyyat (Intention)

Before performing prayer, make a sincere intention in your heart that you are praying for the sake of Allah. It is not necessary to utter the intention verbally — the intention in your heart is sufficient.

Takbeer-e-Tahreema

Begin the prayer by raising both hands up to your ears and saying:

(Allah is the Greatest)
This is the first and most essential pillar of Salah.

Qayaam — ( Sanaa )

After Takbeer, recite the opening supplication (Sanaa) silently:

After Sanaa, recite Ta'awwudh, then Tasmiyah, then Surah Al-Fatiha followed by another Surah.

Qayaam — Ta'awwudh & Bismillah

Qayaam — سورۃ الفاتحہ

Qayaam — سورۃ الکوثر

Now go into Rukūʿ (bowing).

Rukūʿ (Bowing)

Bow down with your back flat, hands on knees, and recite:

Then rise from Rukūʿ.

Qawmah — After Rukūʿ

Place your forehead on the ground for Sajdah.

Sujūd — First Sajdah

Place your forehead, nose, palms, knees, and toes on the ground, then recite:

Sit in Jalsah (between the two Sajdahs).

Jalsah — Between Two Sajdahs

Sit briefly and recite:

Go into the second Sajdah.

Sujūd — Second Sajdah

Rise for Tashahhud (final sitting).

Tashahhud — Attahiyyat

Sit and recite:

Qaʿdah — Durood Ibrāhīm

After Attahiyyat, recite:

Qaʿdah — Masnoon Dua

Recite any Masnoon (recommended) Dua:

Qaʿdah — Masnoon Dua

Recite any Masnoon (recommended) Dua:

Ending — Salām

Your Salah is now complete. 🌙
